ASECO was founded in 1970 by AMI Antwerp. AMI Antwerp is a fully owned subsidiary of the renowned CMB Compagnie Maritime Belge.
The origins of ASECO are closely linked to the beginnings of the CMB container transport operations between Europe and North America. The abbreviation ASECO stands for Agence Service et Conteneurs and has reflected our commitment to excellent service and efficiency right from the very start.
Over the years, we have constantly expanded our agency network and now provide comprehensive sea and land transport solutions throughout the world together with our network partners. All perfectly tailored to the individual requirements of our customers.
Based on strategic considerations, we have decided to reorganise the structure at ASECO: As of 1 January 2024, we will transfer the activities of ASECO that you are familiar with to ASEACON Shipping GmbH. All services will continue to be provided by the usual team. Nothing will change for you: neither the team, nor the service, nor the address.
ASECO will still be there in the background for both you and ourselves.
